NASCAR Nationwide series' drivers practiced yesterday at the very fast Talladega Speedway (2.6-mile). Steve Wallace (Chevy No 66) and Jason Leffler (Camry No 38) were the fastest in the first and second practice. Canadian D.J. Kennington (Dodge No 81) surprised a lot of people running the 8th and then the 6th fastest speeds in those runs. Quebec's Patrick Carpentier ran the 26th and the 21st speeds.
