NASCAR: Matt Crafton wins his first ever Craftsman Truck race

By ,

Kyle Busch (Tundra No 51) almost made it once again, this time at the Lowe's Motor Speedway as he led most of the North Carolina Education Lottery 200 NASCAR Craftsman Truck race until he tangled with Ron Hornaday (Chevy No 33) and crashed. That gave young Matt Crafton (Chevy No 88) the opportunity to win his first ever Craftsman race. Chad McCumbee (Chevy No 8) came in second followed by Brendan Gaughan (Ford No 10), Erik Darnell (Ford No 99) and Rick Crawford (Ford No 14). Curiously, there were no Toyotas in the first five finishers.
