After being forced to close one of his operations due to the loss of sponsoring, Team Ganassi has confirmed that the primary sponsor for the No.42 car driven by Juan Pablo Montoya , Texaco/Havoline will leave at the end of the present season.Not long ago, Ganassi Racing closed its operation for the No.40 car driven by Dario Franchitti that left the Scottish driver without anywhere to go but only to drive in and handful events in Nationwide. Montoya will continue have sponsorship from gum maker Wrigley's for at least half of 2009. The team is working on securing other sponsorship commitments.Ganassi says Target sponsorship of the No. 41 team of Reed Sorenson is solid and the team still hopes to field two teams in 2009 with the possibility of a third, if adequate sponsorship can be found.
