NASCAR Montreal: Video of Maryeve Dufault's first Nationwide race

By ,

Auto123.com was able to follow Maryeve Dufault when she became the first Canadian female race car driver to take the start of the NASCAR Nationwide race held in Montreal.

Dufault, who usually competes in the ARCA stock car series in the U.S., is a member of the Dodge driver development program. In Montreal, she drove the No. 81 Challenger of team MacDonald Motorsport.

Despite not having turned a wheel in private testing in that car, Maryeve accepted the challenge and put some valuable racing mileage under her belt.
