The 2013 GMC Acadia features a new, more upright design with diffused LED running lights standard across the lineup, and an updated taillight design.

Other subtle changes to the exterior include wrap-around rear glass and a new rear spoiler. New 18”, 19” and 20” wheel patterns are designed to complement the tweaked exterior.

The interior gets upscale French stitching and red ambient dash lighting; SLT and Denali models get aluminum accents on centre console, doors and dash.

GMC’s new front centre airbag debuts on the 2013 Acadia, protecting drivers and front passengers in far-side impacts. It deploys from the inboard side of the driver’s seat between driver and front passenger.

Introduced on the 2012 Terrain, the Colour Touch Radio will be standard on Acadia. Available IntelliLink allows smartphone integration and voice control of USB-connected iPods. Rear-vision camera with dynamic guide lines displayed on a high-definition screen is standard.

Power comes from a 3.6L V6 engine with VVT and direct injection, mated to a next-generation Hydra-Matic 6T70 6-speed automatic transmission, for 288 hp and 270 lb-ft of torque. All-wheel drive is available.
