New Saab 9-3 for 2008

By ,

The 2008 9-3's bodywork revisions are directly inspired by the highly-regarded Aero X Concept Car. The most notable changes are located up front. The very Saab-like front fascia with a sharper front grille, headlights and overall surfacing is accented by a more assertive stance. The door panels have also received a once-over while the rear is also touched up.
Most interestingly, Saab's classic 'clamshell' hood design made famous by the iconic 1967 Saab 99, is back. The 2008 9-3 will continue to be offered as Sport Sedan, SportCombi wagon and a Convertible. The 2.0T 4-cylinder and 2.8L V6 Aero will also march on.The 9-3 accounts for close to two-thirds of Saab's global sales. The new 2008 will be in dealerships this fall. photo: Saab
