Nissan Canada today announced pricing on the all-new
2009 Nissan cube , on sale across Canada for the first time this spring. With an MSRP of $16,998, the base model comes well equipped with standard air conditioning, privacy glass, full power features, vehicle dynamic control system (VDC), anti-lock braking system (ABS), cruise control and remote keyless entry.
With a focus on
safety , standard on the cube are front and side seat airbags for both driver and passenger, as well as curtain side impact airbags for front and rear passengers.This is not a shy driver's car, with its unique upright design with asymmetric wraparound glass and short front and rear overhangs.The cube is offered in front-wheel drive 1.8 S and 1.8 SL models. Built on the
Versa B-platform it is powered by a 122-horsepower, 1.8-litre 4-cylinder engine with a fuel efficiency of 6.5L/100 km on highways (with automatic transmission according to Transport Canada Figures).Buyers of the S model can choose between a standard 6-speed manual transmission and an optional smooth shifting Xtronic CVT (continuously variable transmission). The SL only comes equipped with the CVT.
