Premier Dalton McGuinty held a press conference yesterday, in which he invited public and private companies to come forward with plans to build and test the charging stations.

With this initiative as well as providing incentives of up to $8,500 at the time of purchase, the McGuinty administration hopes that 5% of Ontarian vehicles – or 1 out of 20 - will be electrified by 2020.
