Paul Tracy free to look elsewhere

By ,

Paul Tracy has decided to look for other racing options as he feels that Forsythe-Pettit Racing owner Gerald Forsythe, with whom he had a long-term agreement, has not met the terms of their contract. That would probably means that the Canadian won't be behind the wheel of the second car Forsythe-Pettit would like to enter for the last Champ Car race in Long Beach. We know that Tracy has had discussion with potential sponsor Monster Energy Drink and that there was a meeting last week about the possibility for them to come into the IRL unified series."We met with Monster Energy Drink last week and gave them a proposal with a budget, so it's on their table," confirmed Tracy."They're trying to see what they might be able to do (in the IRL) but it's difficult because they're already in the second quarter of their budget."
