Porsche 911 plug-in hybrid in the works for 2020

It looks like Porsche is currently working to develop a plug-in hybrid version of the iconic 911, more specifically the next-generation model due around 2020. The German sports car manufacturer has a lot of things to figure out first, however, according to Erhard Mössle, chief engineer for the Porsche 911 Turbo, Carrera 4, and Targa.

According to Car and Driver , one issue, of course, is the size and weight of the battery. How can it fit under the car? And what about the electric drive unit? Porsche needs to design a compact and lightweight battery system that will still provide the necessary amount of power and range.
