PORSCHE CARS NORTH AMERICA REPORTS OCTOBER SALES FOR CANADA; 911 CARRERA SALES UP 15 PERCENT

Porsche Cars North America (PCNA),importer and distributor of Porsche sports cars in the United States andCanada, today announced Canada retail sales for October totaled 63 cars, 20percent fewer than in the same period last year. Year to date sales in NorthAmerica are up 1 percent.

"The response to the newly re-designed and upgraded 911 Carrera isoverwhelmingly positive," said Fred Schwab, PCNA President and CEO. "Our 911Carrera sales are up by 15 percent over last October, and we are preparing forthe market introduction of three new long-awaited models based on the 911; theGT2, the Targa and the Carrera 4S."
