Porsche found not liable for Paul Walker’s deadly crash

Porsche cannot be held responsible for the accident that caused the death of actor Paul Walker and his friend Roger Rodas in November 2013, U.S. District Judge Philip S. Gutierrez ruled Monday.
According to NBC News , Rodas’ widow was unable to show indisputable evidence of any direct liability on Porsche’s part. She claimed her husband died because the 2005 Porsche Carrera GT he was driving lacked critical safety features including a crash cage and fuel cell. There was no evidence the suspension failed, either.
Both Walker’s daughter and father have also filed lawsuits against the German automaker. Their cases are still pending.
