“I am delighted to be in Monaco for a track race. It's a nice break in the middle of the WRC season. I'm being given a great opportunity to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the iconic Carrera, with a highly original car livery inspired by the sixties and Pop Art!” declared Sebastien Ogier in a press release.

The Swiss company has invited several guests to attend the launch of the new wristwatch, including actress Cameron Diaz, McLaren drivers Jenson Button and Sergio Perez, four-time World Champion Alain Prost and Lotus driver Romain Grosjean.

The Carrera model was created by the manufacture in 1963 as a tribute to a legendary race: La Carrera Panamericana.
