Previously referred to as the "PAS" or Progressive Activity Sedan, this newest entry into the
BMW family will likely be known as a GT -- in this case, a
5 Series GT .
The roomy sedan with a coupe-like roofline, similar to the
X6 , is said to have four large, fully adjustable seats and (as sources are telling us) small tables as well. Depending on the options and packages, it will be riding on 18 to 21 inch wheels. All-wheel-drive will definitely be an option, as well as several of the bells and whistles (AKA: technical innovations) from the upcoming 5 and 7 Series makeovers.It will be offered with a variety of 6-cylinder powerplants as well as a hybrid option.Officially, the all-new 5 Series GT will debut at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show next September.
