Some say they’ll be seen on Netflix in the very near future… The Top Gear boys are back

By ,

At least, according to a report published by Business Insider . It seems the recently dismissed BBC host has confirmed that the boys will indeed be back in the near future. However, the specific network on which they will appear has not yet been confirmed.

Clarkson, Hammond, and May will once again be tackling car reviews and lap times in their latest project.  It was reported that the trio, along with Andy Runner who formerly ran Top Gear on the BBC, were in a very close deal with Netflix, and so that would seem to be the frontrunner.

Are we excited? Heck, yes. The idea of a Clarkson-free (and Hammond and May since they refused to resign their contracts with the BBC once they expired in April of this year), was starting to really bring us down.

Although the hosting position at Top Gear has been taken up by DJ Chris Evans, it’s just not going to be the same (in our humble opinion). As they are working to find co-hosts for Evans, season 23 will likely feature a motley crew of test cases to work alongside Evans until they find someone who sticks and makes it work.

No specifics have been leaked about the new show for Clarkson, Hammond and May, but we’ll keep our ear to the internet and keep you up to date on the latest so we can all prep with popcorn and a pint of lager the night the first episode airs.
