Speed World: Herr wins - Cunningham champion

By ,

Even though Chip Herr won the Speed World Challenge finale presented yesterday at the Road Atlanta circuit, Peter Cunningham, driver and boss of the Acura Real Time team, has won the 2008 title with his fourth place finish. Cunningham's teammate, Pierre Kleinubing, was the best of all the Acura drivers with a third giving him the runner-up spot in the championship. Canadian Kuno Wittmer had a great race starting from 11th and finishing 5th but it was too little too late and, despite a great year, he will have to settle for third in the championship.
