From Speedcar officeThe opening race to Speedcar Series Season 2 begins tomorrow at the Dubai Autodrome. 14 drivers will take to the grid representing seven professional teams at the 2-day race weekend.The list of drivers participating in the Series this year include some of the big F1 names including Johnny Herbert (reigning champion of Speedcar Series Season 1), Jean Alesi, Canadian Jacques Villeneuve , Stefan Johansson, Gianni Morbidelli, Heinz Harald Frentzen and Vitatonio Liuzzi who will be making his Speedcar Series debut this season.They will be pitted against talent from other fields of motor sport including Mathias Lauda, the strong Austrian driver who proved to be a serious contender in Season 1 finishing the championship in 7th place after only having competed in 3 rounds out of 5.
