According to the American organization, which plans on expanding to Canada, "a 27-kilogram dog becomes more than 1.2 tonnes of mass in a vehicle travelling at just 55 km/h." In a frontal collision, the animal can become a serious
safety hazard.In order to ensure the safety of both pets and people, the organization strongly recommends the use of a crate or safety harness that allows you to secure the animal with a seat belt.Each year, Bark Buckle UP recognizes a Pet Safe Vehicle of Choice.
