Suzuki announced today that it will be heading to the Frankfurt Auto Show with its new Swift Sport. This unveiling marks the first evolution of the car, which was originally launched in 2006.
Driven by a 134-horsepower, 1.6-litre four-cylinder engine and benefiting of 118 pound-feet of torque, it will sport a more aggressive look compared to the previous generation. An imposing grille and ground-hugging shape will distinguish its external appearance. The Japanese manufacturer also claims that high-quality materials will be found pretty much everywhere in the cabin.
A six-speed manual transmission will be in charge of transmitting power to the wheels, while also allowing better fuel consumption.
The Swift's behavior should be improved through struts with internal rebound springs and an electronic stability program (ESP). Finally, seven airbags will protect occupants in an optimal way in case of an impact.
