Look at the history of Tesla’s much-talked-about Model 3, and you see a real progression. Remember that when it first debuted, it didn’t fare very well in Consumer Reports’ own surveys with owners regarding reliability. The sale figures and its high ranking in surveys like this show that the company took to heart the criticisms leveled at the model regarding quality of construction of the early models coming out of the Tesla plant. Current owners of the Model 3 have spoken: those early issues are a thing of the past.
