What’s the 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe gonna look like? The question has been on everyone’s lips for months now. After various images of a heavily camouflaged something and countless rumours circled the internet, the Korean automaker has finally graced us with the first official photos of the car via its blog.
Hyundai has evidently decided consistency is the better part of valour when it comes to design: The Genesis Coupe will bear a certain resemblance to, among other things, the Veloster and the European i30, which will soon be crossing the pond to replace the Elantra Touring.
The front part of the car is particularly distinct, proudly boasting a redesigned grille, bumper, headlamps and hood. The back end wasn't forgotten either and features refreshed taillamps.
No word from Hyundai as to the engine that will power the 2013 Genesis Coupe. We’ll know more in January when the North American version is unveiled at the Detroit Auto Show.
