Super hero – The legendary Batmobile
How Batman’s ride has evolved over the years! Ah, what good times aboard this car by my favourite super hero as he fought countless numbers of colourful villains. Here you see the first model created for the 1989 film version. Director Tim Burton chose to base his Batmobile on the 1970 Chevrolet Corvette – with a few changes! The chassis was entirely custom-made for Bruce Wayne’s alter-ego.
