7- Hyundai Tucson / Kia Sportage
Both Hyundai’s Tucson and Kia’s Sportage are honorable options in this category. Of these cousins, the first is the more popular, selling over twice as much as the second. Both are solid vehicles that deliver a decent driving experience and are reasonably reliable. Be careful about getting enticed up to the higher trims, whose costs aren’t necessarily justified by what they deliver. Another factor to consider is the resale value of these Korean automakers’ products, which is still substantially lower than what used Hondas and Toyotas bring.
Here are specifications for the 2018 Tucson , and for the 2018 Sportage .
