6 — Jeep Wrangler
Last fall, Jeep finally added a diesel engine to its Wrangler lineup. I say finally, because enthusiasts had been clamouring for it for quite a while. Having tested it, it's hard not to be impressed by its performance in the service of this vehicle.
However, with an additional premium of close to $7,400 to pay, you really have ot want it to go for this variant. And that’s without mentioning the diesel engine's iffy history of reliability in Ram vehicles. Caution is in order here, even though the announced powertrain is new.
