8 - Kia Rio – 2017 Cadenza – New factory in Mexico…
We are expecting the Rio for the Paris Motor Show at the end of September, but Kia has previewed the launch with the release of the first images of its sub-compact sedan. That the global launch is being held in Paris, home of the great French makes like Citroën, Peugeot and Renault, testifies to the fact Kia no longer has any complexes about staking its claim as a worldwide carmaker.
The 2017 Cadenza is itself an outstanding addition to the Kia lineup. We will be offering you next week a first road test of this sedan on the heels of its unveiling to the press this past August.

More good news from Kia with the inauguration of a new plant in Mexico, the sixth overseas production facility for the manufacturer and one that represents an investment of $3 billion USD. With annual capacity expected to hit 400,000 units, this factory will allow Kia to attain 3.56 million units globally and will feed the North American market, which has shown strong growth for the company. The all-new Rio will be built there as of May 2017.
