5. 8 th generation (2006-2011)
Civic No. 8 hit a homerun from the start, and actually won the 2006 North American Car of the Year Award. For this generation, Honda began using different platforms for the coupe and sedan, giving them different driving dynamics. Their brand new design was more than welcome, both inside and out.
