The 2018 Montreal Auto Show is in full, frenetic, swing. From now until Sunday, January 28th, visitors to the 75th edition of the annual event will be able to get close-up looks at over 30 new models making their Canadian debuts, not to mention check out a host of other automotive-related attractions.

It goes without saying that some models attract more of the hordes than others, either because they explore new market segments for their respective brands, turn heads with bold new styling, or unveil futuristic technologies – if not all three at once!

2019 Subaru Ascent
Subaru returns to the three-row SUV category. Bigger and more refined than the defunct Tribeca, the new Ascent features standard symmetrical full-time all-wheel drive and the EyeSight suite of safety technologies, sure to set it apart in the segment. As for the new 260-hp 2.4L turbo engine, it allows drivers to pull up to 5,000 lbs – unprecedented for any Subaru model, and which will come in perfectly handy for owners of trailers or boats.
