7. GAC GS5
Chinese auto manufacturer GAC (Guangzhou Automobile Group Co) is in Paris this week showcasing this generic-looking compact SUV. The ninth model to be introduced by the company won’t be sold in North America, for now at least. What’s interesting about the GS5, however, is that GAC does have the firm desire to enter the North American market. So keep those letters in the back of your mind; GAC could be part of the automotive conversation here before too long.
