10 – Hispano-Suiza

Those who know their automotive history have probably heard of Hispano-Suiza. The company manufactured luxury cars in the period prior to World War Two. Today, two firms actually use the name, one in Switzerland and the other based in Spain. The latter firm is the one behind the Carmen on display in Geneva this week.

The Carmen is an electric supercar with an output of just over 1,000 hp. Only 19 units of the model will be built, and the asking price is expected to hit the seven figures. The model pays tribute to the brand’s illustrious past, and particularly to the H6C Dubonnet Xenia model from 1938.
