8. Toyota Tacoma
The Tacoma has been a reference in the segment since seemingly forever. It got its last major revision from Toyota in 2015. That revamp was a pretty mild one, though, since, as per Toyota’s habits, the company felt more was not needed since there were no other models around to threaten it. How things have changed. Tacoma is far from the only solid choice in the category today. You can bet that Toyota won’t wait until 2025 to refresh it again. Still, like virtually all Toyotas it’s reliable and durable as heck, virtually indestructible.
