2- Chevrolet Silverado/GMC Sierra: The Dynamic Duo
Ford’s main competitor in the light- and medium-duty truck category is clearly General Motors. GM offers consumers two distinct brands: the Chevrolet Silverado and the GMC Sierra . Like Ford’s F-Series, these large pickups are available in multiple different versions, from the smallest base model to the elaborate 4-door trucks with regular or luxury finishes.
Both the V6 and V8 engines that are available also come in diesel versions, at least for the 2500 and 3500 lines. In addition, Chevrolet has in recent years added its High Country luxury model, positioned to “compete” with the GMC Denali!
