Tesla Model S
Still hot from the oven and extremely rare on North American roads, the Model S had us wondering, “What the heck was that? Oh, that's right: the Tesla!” every time we came across one. A formidable balance between luxury and sportiness, one glance at the Model S and its rear is enough to reveal you're dealing with an exceptional sedan. The long, swooping roofline beautifully flows into the rear hatch (yes, a hatch, not a trunk lid), where a delicate chrome blade pierces the sleek taillights. We also like the thin brake light stretching across the rear window at the top, and the missing tailpipes (it's electric, fools) that clean up the rear diffuser.
