Chevrolet Trailblazer... and a new Trax!
Launched in the middle of a pandemic, the Chevrolet Trailblazer came to position itself n the brand’s lineup right above the little Trax, a model that was showing signs of age after several years on the market unchanged. In fact the similarities between the two vehicles helped fertilize the soil for speculation as to a possible demise of the Trax.
But no, Chevy management had other ideas. For 2023, the Trax is back in a new form, as the most affordable SUV model in the lineup. With two-wheel drive only and the “little” turbocharged 3-cylinder once offered under the hood of the Trailblazer, the “new” Trax gives Chevrolet two good products to offer customers looking for a small SUV.
