Double bonus: 2019 Acura RDX “Prototype”
They’re calling it a prototype, but the styling of said prototype is such that you can easily see it making production. The front grille is a spitting image of what’s used on most current Acura products, and the rest of the styling is nowhere near as out there as the other concepts on this list. The fact that this 2019 Acura RDX Prototype has a 2.0L turbo engine under the hood – that’s an engine we’ve seen before at Honda – further speaks to this being pretty close to production. Add an all-new infotainment punctuated by a 10.2-inch HD display, and you’ve got one of the more functional prototypes we’ve ever seen.
