Best sub-compact SUV: Mazda CX-3
The arrival of the Hyundai Kona on the market is bad news for other carmakers, as the new product reflects the elevated quality levels of other models offered lately by the Korean manufacturer. It certainly makes a powerful argument in this class… but not enough to displace the Mazda CX-3 as the small urban crossover offering the best overall value. The CX-3 is super-nimble on the road and it features one of the best all-wheel drive systems on the market.
The quality of the interior space is also worthy of note, especially when you consider the asking price for the CX-3. That said, what earns the CX-3 its spot at the top of this segment is its driving dynamics.
