Best electric vehicle: Hyundai Kona Electric
Hyundai’s Kona subcompact crossover certainly deserved serious consideration in that segment, but I finally went with the new Mazda CX-30 in a photo finish.
But wouldn’t you know it, the Kona is also available as an all-electric model, and that version happens to be the most dynamic of the three Kona versions available on the market, despite the absence of all-wheel drive.
Battery range is another consideration when evaluating value from an EV, and the Kona offers quite a lot of it: 415 km. As for the overall quality of the Kona EV, it’s another feather in Hyundai’s cap.
