Best Electric Vehicle: Hyundai Ioniq 5

With the arrival of the first-ever Hyundai vehicle designed entirely and from the outset as an all-electric model, the Korean automaker is making sure it has the goods to compete with Tesla’s Model 3 and other electric crossovers on the market, several of which will be arriving on the market in the coming months.

The EV-dedicated platform means designers could go to town creating a different kind of roomier interior, while the base price of $44,999 (yes, that’s right, it is eligible for federal and most provincial EV discounts) is great news for drivers interested in this really sharp-looking vehicle.

Honorable mention goes to the Ford F-150 Lightning pickup, which we can expect to fly out of dealerships and into the hands new owners at a neck-spraining pace when it does finally debut.
