Back to School 2019: 14 New Vehicles Under $20,000! Here are the best affordable choices for students and young car shoppers

Kia Forte LX $17,195 (plus $1,645 transport and preparation)

The Kia Forte sedan is very similar to the Hyundai Elantra, this despite their contrasting exteriors. Just a little pricier than its Korean close cousin, the Forte is also an intriguing choice for the price.

Once again, the presence of a manual gearbox explains the attractive price point.

From our review :

“I was impressed by the amount of standard equipment the new Forte offers for the price. The product offering is well-calibrated to meet the needs of mainstream car buyers… Overall the design is eye-pleasing, and the big trunk is another sure selling point.”
