There's also new stuff percolating at Maserati; the Italian manufacturer is already working on a mid-engine sports car powered by a twin-turbo V6 engine that could, according to the magazine, surpass the 600-hp mark.

As well, since the Italian automaker has already indicated its intention to electrify its entire fleet, it wouldn't be surprising if the MC20 receives a hybrid powertrain and even a pure electric one a little later in its lifecycle.
