While the Korean luxury automaker has only just unveiled its new GV80, the first Genesis SUV in the short history of the brand, another utility model is already on the front burner. As its name suggests, the GV70 will be based on the same architecture as the G70 sedan, just like in the case of the G80 and GV80.

Given Genesis’ urgent need for utility vehicles - sales of its three sedans aren't exactly breaking records right now - the compact crossover's unveiling is likely to take place before the end of 2020.
