Dodge Charger Daytona SRT
The Dodge brand isn't quite ready to move into the electric era, busy as it is in the short term with the proliferation of versions of the Challenger Hellcat. But already, with the introduction of the Hornet, available with a hybrid powertrain, we can see on the horizon a wave of changes coming within the automaker’s lineup.
And this electric future could very well take the form of a 100-percent electric muscle car. With the positive reaction accorded the Charger Daytona SRT prototype, it would be surprising if senior management didn't greenlight that as a production model. Let's just hope Dodge engineers can find a way to improve the vehicle's artificial sound, because so far, the attempt to reproduce the sound of a V8 engine has been a bit of a wet firecracker.
