Toyota Land Cruiser (1990 – 1997)

Nowadays, the Land Cruiser is marketed in our country as the Lexus LX 570, a luxury model that takes the platform of the Toyota SUV and throws on top of it the usual luxuries associated with the Lexus brand.

But in the early 90s, the manufacturer remade its most robust 4x4 from top to bottom; the result was known internally as the J80. Powered by a naturally aspirated inline 6-cylinder engine, the Land Cruiser wasn't particularly powerful or even fun to drive, but it's one of the most durable models on the planet, while its off-road capabilities are legendary.
