Often overlooked because of its luxury bent, the Lexus LX 570 is nonetheless a compelling choice for those wanting to conquer the world's roughest trails. The Lexus GX 470 should actually also be included in this discussion, as that rugged SUV has as many off-roading chops as bigger brother the LX 570.
Remember that at heart the LX is a dressed-up Toyota Land Cruiser, while the GX is a cousin of the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado, model sold outside of North America.
