The redesign of GM's full-size SUVs has done them the world of good, if only for their upgraded and modernized technological content. But the American giant also thought of off-road enthusiasts with the Z71 trim for the Chevy Tahoe and the AT4 variant of GMC’s Yukon.

While not as advanced as some dedicated 4x4s, both variants still benefit from air suspension that raises the ride height to better negotiate obstacles, while the tires on the AT4 and Z71 are designed to withstand a tougher ride.
