1929 Rolls-Royce Phantom I Pall Mall Touring Limousine

With a name as long as the car – I’ll let you catch your breath – this vintage tourer is a great look at days gone by. There are spectacular cars today to be sure, but could you imagine a valet stand full of these? Other than the fact that you’d probably only be able to fit about two at any given hotel entrance, it’s amazing that any power was enough power do get something this huge and monolithic going (it has a 7.6L straight-six, by the way). The price? Only around about $20,000…in 1929. Adjusted for inflation, that’s about 300 grand today. As you do.
