1980 Ford Econoline Marathon of Hope Van

When Terry Fox decided to embark on his iconic Marathon of Hope run across Canada to help raise funds for cancer research, Ford jumped in and loaned them this van as a support vehicle. It’s had to be restored since then, but Fox’s youngest brother Darrell, seen here presenting the vehicle to journalists at the show, insists that at its core, it is the van where Terry ate, slept and took the occasional load off. It’s remarkable to see it in person, almost as if you’re seeing history live.
