12 – 1999 Oldsmobile Recon Concept

As the year 2000 approached, Oldsmobile started to take notice of the increasing popularity of sport utility models, as you can see from this design study. It foreshadows the styling of an SUV the brand would produce towards the end of the 2000s.

13 – 2001 Oldsmobile O4 Concept

The 04 concept was one of the last produced by Oldsmobile. The letter O is a reference to oxygen, while the 4 represents the number of seats found in the model. The vehicle was based on an Opel Astra. Unfortunately, the demise of the automaker means we’ll never know where the company might have gone with this convertible.
