2020 Lincoln Aviator Grand Touring
Ford’s luxury division used the occasion of the Los Angeles Auto Show in late 2018 to present ite new mid-size SUV, the 2020 Lincoln Aviator. Built on the same platform as the new 2020 Ford Explorer, the luxury utility model gets its own plug-in hybrid configuration. Its aim is of course to reduce fuel consumption, but it will need to deliver on the performance front as well.
To that end, the Aviator PHEV’S 3.0L twin-turbo V6, combined with a plug-in electric-power system, will deliver 450 hp and an impressive 600 lb-ft of torque working in conjunction with a 10-speed automatic transmission. It is scheduled to debut commercially before the end of 2019.
