Honda CR-Z
Now here’s a choice that’s, let’s be honest, isn’t the most rational. But still, it’s an interesting option for those who love little pocket rocket. While Honda did sell the two-door CR-Z coupe with a CVT transmission, it’s worth considering a version equipped with a manual gearbox. Yes, it is possible to get a hybrid car with a stick shift! Of course, you have to be able to find one on the used-car market, which may be a challenge since the model never sold that well new. But if you do, chances are very good that the asking price on a 2011 edition, say, could be below the $10,000 mark.
