9 – Shelby GT500
Speaking of electrification and of green cars, it’s an irony of our current transitional age that electric cars are being displayed at a big auto show right alongside muscular brutes powered by totally un-PC V8 powertrains. The Shelby GT500, the ultimate beast to come out of the Mustang franchise of cars, has a V8, and it delivers over 700 hp.
